And those of us in the far North of Britain plc were very much tucked up for the night, dreaming of a streaming discount and the announcement of a six date tour of Scotland in 2024.

That's a tasty set list. And you got Levee at last. You've been moaning about that for ages and now you're all meh about it. Never any pleasing some folk.

I for other vote for a whole set played in polka 2/4 time with mazurka versions of the Rock Show Ending encore.

I’ll leave it to the set list meister to fill out the details once he returns from Cork, but this was a fun show, with Tweedy in jovial form. The student Union venue lent itself to a ‘rock block’ finish, even though there were no students and most of the audience seemed to be pensioners. Or farmers waiting for a cattle auction to begin, going on the reactions next to me. 😬 Did I get the listing title right Paul??

I’ve not heard ‘sassenach’ used for years, and it’s not exclusively Glaswegian. Nice to meet you, albeit briefly, too! (But sorry, I’ll never be a ‘Brit’) 😁

In all honesty, I've seen them play better, have better sound, better set lists and (much) better banter. But what a very special night. We did them proud.

Strictly speaking they did play two different sets. The word that was missing was ‘completely’ 😬

I have applied for a refund under the British trade’s description act. I was promised two different shows and only got one and a half. But HELL IS CHROME FFS!! So I’m happy.

Pah! Not the show as I remember it. Then again I was up to 4am drinking Utrechtian brewed Russian Imperial Stout!
