  1. Of all the shows I've seen outdoors, this is by far my fav. I'd love to listen to it again.
  2. He actually knew what a Saskatoon berry was !!! here is a link to a review in the Vancouver Sun Vancouver Sun review Gallery of photos is the article's top right corner. Enjoy
  3. yup big reaction from the crowd (the few who knew it) and Jeff had a few jokes about it..."Where were you guys in 96" (I think thats what he said)
  4. What else did everyone think? I think I'd top this as one of my fav Wilco performances since their Thunderbird Stadium. They sound really good outdoors to me. What was the song of the night for everyone? Gotta say Via Chicago, kidsmoke and Heavy Metal Drummer for me. Nels was in fine form as well. Loved all the older folks asking me who he was...
  5. anyone know if were allowed umbrellas? Some said that they'll not let me into Malkin Bowl with them? Apparently, they had an incident at a Blue Rodeo concert? Anywho...everyone have fun. See you there...in my best Rivers disguise.
  6. Still no word if the Calgary/Edmonton shows will go on tomorrow. I hope everything cleared up (chicken pox) by Monday, however, having adult chicken pox is pretty bad sometimes.
  7. Are we sure its GA...Doesnt the Bowl have seating?
  8. Wilco will be my first concert as a new resident of the city of Vancouver. I've lived in Victoria and always shuttled over for shows. This will be nice to actually live in a city with good venues and shows.
  9. But the question remains...when will the presale hit?
  10. www.pollstar.com had them at the Orpheum, but now I went to see when the presale tickets were going to be on sale and now the Vancouver show has been moved? WHAT GIVES? anyone? I would imagined that the pre-sale would have to occur around the same time as all the others? The Orpheum show in 04 was ok, but we kept getting told to sit down by the ushers. I would recommend the Queen E, however they did sound great live outdoors at T-Bird Stadium at UBC. EDIT: Looks like Malkin Bowl is now in place of the Orpheum. I dunno about the new venue choice, but glad the boys are still headed to BC.
  11. Check this site out... http://www.geocities.com/jff_77/index.html Cheers
