They stuck to the more lively band friendlies from CC, which I kinda liked in the context of a general Wilco show ... Can't hear I Got You (At The End Of The Century) without the image of a tumbling Bob Egan ... Have they ever closed a show with Outta Mind (Outta Sight)? ... 

I still feel bad for those people at the Tweedy meet and greet - did they sign releases, I would not have ... sorry for the long Patton quote too ...

Right now watching I Am Trying To Break Your Heart, out so long ago it's a DVD even! 4-23-02 was a big day: E Costello rebooted his career with When I Was Cruel, P Westerberg put out a good un and The Last Waltz came out on DVD - all added up to getting my early 40s backside in gear for a decade of ACL Fests and SXSWs ...

Come on Mister Kafka - do you really think that bands should not charge what the market will bear?  (I checked your profile and noticed you aren't a kid so I assume you know how the world works.)  And why should TM answer you either?  This is a business now with lots of expenses and infrastructure to support.  If you want to see performers who are scuffling, hit the local clubs and bars and support them. If you want to see a big time rock group, pay to see Wilco.  Or don't.  No one is holding a gun to your head and making you buy tickets.
