I agree regarding the clarity. Having seen the guys for years at various venues I can't remember hearing them so clearly. Picked up every note they were strumming and subtle sounds I've never heard live. I was about 10 rows back on the floor, in the center. They seemed to be changing up a couple songs as well as far as arrangements. Nel's solo on "Impossible Germany" seemed a little different. But that may be because I was hearing things I've never heard before.

So I'm in line for Beck last night and out of nowhere Wilco sans Jeff and Nels walk right by us, most with a lady in hand. I gave them the what's up nod and that was that. But it seemed as if they were just getting in line like the rest of us. Crazy stuff. Then we're leaving the show and they looked to be waiting for the bus outside the green mill. Nobody really seemed to realize it was them at all. Beck as amazing by the way.

The last week has been such a exhausting endeavor. Physically, Emotionally, and let's be honest - financially. But I wouldn't trade it in for the world. Running down there every night this week after work was pure madness. I have barely been home all week! Such a surreal experience to basically spend all your free time with your favorite band after work, playing all your favorite songs. As much as I may need to get back to society, I would totally have no problem going again any night this week if they announced it. It was as if we were in another universe this past week. Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen anyone mention "Comment (If All Men Are Truly Brothers)" as a contender for tonight. It was a staple during the Vic shows in 05. I'm crossing my fingers it makes an appearance tonight. It would be a great way to end a wonderful string of nights.
