    A Cherry Ghost
  1. Riff #2 is either x2003x or x20x3x ( I can't quite tell, and it doesn't really matter that much) to either x5006x or x50x6x three times and staying on the firth fretted position before going back in to the riff
  2. Riff #3 to me is playing 6ths ( I think) so from low to high xx202x to xx304x to xx202x to xx505x to xx202x to xx304x to xx202x. then 222xxx to 555xxx. Sorry not good at writing the tab but you get the point I think.
  3. I'm working on this too...I've got most of the parts but haven't put them together just right yet...To my ears, your close but a bit off, (maybe what I hear is wrong though) but Drop D is right Capo on 3 is right. the main verse chords are D7/F# to G/B to A7.
  4. Wondering if anybody had an extra (or 2) White Stripes ticket for the 10/7 sold out show at the Aragon? I am willing to pay a reasonable amount but nothing too outrageous -- still am yet to see them live and I need to.
  5. I don't think he plays it with a capo...just from how I play it taken form 3.5.05...Play an E major in the shape of a D major but barring on the second fret with your index finger...its a hell of a stretch, but it sounds good...hammer on the high e string when needed. then play the A major chord, the F# minor barre chord and then occasionally throw in the B major barre chord on the chorus and, i think the last line before the chorus(i.e. "he was always there to lend a helping hand" or whatever). If you don't understand this I can get more detailed but the song is pretty staright foreward...S
  6. what is the best way to learn the guitar style that Jeff uses on this song? I think its called Carter Style...do you need finger picks? I want to learn it but I dont know where to start...
  7. Does anyone know any songs as good as Spiders to jam/practice scales to?
