  1. Love the show. Camera angles are crap though.
  2. Mm, yeah, but I'll probably just have the guitar technician I know do that for me when I have him put in the new pickups. Would raising or lowering the pickups reduce brightness at all or add bass/mids? Don't think so, but then again, I've never tried it.
  3. Hmmm, does anyone here know how to decrease the tone pot value on a Jazzy? I'd certainly like to try that if I'm able.
  4. Small venue. I went to the Wilco show in Grand Junction, CO and it was in a small amphitheater. It was just SPECTACULAR. Not one person sat down during the show, and everyone just locked together when they sung.
  5. I agree. The pickups could be better, but that could be said about any stock guitar.
  6. You all must be fucking high. Quite obviously, it's: AM BT ST YHF AGIB SBS
  7. AM BT S YHF AGIB SBS Seems like an old friend is missing now.
  8. After hours of consideration... AM BT ST YHF AGIB SBS I need alcohol. Lots.
  9. Edit: It's a MiM Classic player's one. Dunno why I said vintage reissue, I'm too poor to afford that. Before you put me down for buying MiM, it plays REALLY well, and maybe I'm just not a big enough guitar buff, but I can't tell if there's much of a difference between this one and American ones I've played. I'd agree with you on the strats - too metallic. Jazzmasters sound great. I love how mine can go from soft to rock-your-socks-off in an instant, but it could be better, and I'll certainly let you know how the pickups sound.
  10. I am a firm believer of the same. I think I'm gonna go with the Lollars. I dunno much about Fralins, but I've heard that they're bitchin'. However, I like Lollars personally. a.miller, what year/model of jazzmaster do you have?
  11. I've been thinking about changing my stock jazzy's pickups for Jason Lollars. The bridge pick up in particular to me just sounds sort of weak and twangy. Thoughts?
  12. Dunno if any of your stuff has sold yet, but the best place I've found to sell music stuff on the internet is www.thegearpage.net. However, I think you have to wait 30 days after joining before you can sell anything, so I dunno how much it helps.
  13. Fuck that guitar. If guitar manufacturers continue on this path, in ten years, new guitarists won't even bother to learn how tune because their guitar does it for them.
  14. Do the trade. I highly doubt you'll regret it.
  15. Best: Red Rocks Amphitheater However, I haven't actually seen Wilco play there. That's just a BITCHIN' place to go.
  16. I've seen worse bands headline there and have a full house, actually.
  17. ... What the fuck are you talking about? It's just a song. A damn good song.
  18. Do you guys ever check to see if there's already a topic on the subject?
