  1. Thanks for the great music, Jay.
  2. Not to disagree, but if that's Wilco "mailing it in", then I'm happy to be a mailbox! Or something like that ... lol Question for the people who took 10,000 camera phone pix - were you able to enjoy the show between pictures? I was surprised by the lack of new songs, but whatever. My buddy is a fan of the pre-Yankee stuff (but also likes SBS), and a few songs in, I said, "Hope you've been boning up on the YHF and AGiB stuff ..." He appreciates those albums more after seeing Wilco last night and last summer in Indy. On the way out last night, he said, "I will never miss another Wilco show
  3. I've got the chords, but the search option is not working out for finding the threads with Far, Far Away in them. Anyone have the solo? Thanks!
  4. I heard "What's the World Got In Store" while lunching at Chipolte. It was between a Latino tune and a James Brown song.
  5. Drive-By Truckers - Brighter Than Creation's Dark Black Keys - Attack and Release Black Crowes - Warpaint (much better than last 2 releases) and I'm anticipating that the new Mofro album will be on my short list, too.
  6. What a great show and a great time. I so love this band. Tweedy was in great spirits last night. The band sounded good from the left GA side of things. My gf gave me good-natured shit because they didn't play Red-Eyed & Blue (one of the few Wilco songs she doesn't like). But anytime I get to hear "Forget the Flowers", I'm happy.
  7. Yeah, the reserved went fast. Looking forward to the show. I like the White River venue. Don't know what I love more about TM - their ridiculous fees or their broker/scalper arrangements. lol
  8. Was this VW ad the reason why "The Thanks I Get" was left off of SBS? I'd be ticked if they intentionally left off a great song like that because of the commercial. I'm completely shocked by this, frankly. I figured that selling his songs would be one of the last things Tweedy would do. I kinda give a pass to new bands that are trying to get known by this method (Black Keys), but for more established artists like Tweedy, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But on the other hand, it's always nice to hear Wilco under about any conditions
  9. My bad - forgot to paste the chords! They are now at the top of the tab.
  10. Using a tab found on the old Alt-Country Tab site and the tab on the Gumbopages, I tried to pull together the 'correct' (to my ear) bits from each. The part that I'm not sure about is the "F#m to F#m7" bit on the 2nd line of the 1st verse. Does anyone have any suggestions, or do you want to run through this as-tabbed and give me some feedback? Thanks! Red-Eyed & Blue Chords: A: x02220 Aaug: x03221 A6: xx2222 A6/F: xx3222 A6/F#: xx4222 A7: xx2223 A/G: 3x2220 A/F#: 2x2220 Dm/F: 10023x intro: A Aaug A Aaug (x2) A Aaug We've got solid-state
