  1. I'm looking for two reserve seats together, as close as possible to front (for reserve). I believe reserve begins at row 26, so somewhere within a few rows (I'm not much interested in anything farther back). I live in Boulder, and I can drive to Denver. email: martind16gt@gmail.com thanks

    Denver

The Filmore is a great place to see Wilco or any other music-- intimate and excellent sound. Very easy to get in front, too (if you are relatively early). I saw them at the Filmore for the AGIB tour and it was great. I saw the Raconteurs my last visit and enjoyed a great and LOUD show right up front. However, beer cost a small fortune. I'll be at both shows.

    Tell me

"You Are My Face" most recently -- one of those lyrical and musical highs for Wilco, similar to Hummingbird in AGIB. "Shake It Off" -- cuts a very deep groove unlike any other Wilco tune -- "somewhere there's a war/sometimes there is art" is one of my favorite lines in the entire collection.
  4. I've played ukes for many years and just love them. I have a few vintage, higher end instruments, Martin, Gibson, and Favailla, and have passed many along. Stay away from the lower end laminated instruments on the market. You want a solid wood instrument. For under $200, I"ve read how the Bushman ukuleles are excellent value. Here is one link to a site: http://www.ukes.com/bushman-ukuleles.html You might also check out the market section of fleamarketmusic.com, one of the major uke boards. By the way, Jeff Tweedy is a uke player. The Rollingstone article on Jeff & Wilco in
  5. I'll see them at the Soiled Dove in Dever this next weekend. John on "Cali Stars"? Or Pat, "Jesus ETC"? While you'd expect to hear overtones of Wilco, the fact is AD is their own sound. We know they're seriously talented, and will make a good show.
  6. Very nice and a beautiful acoustic sound. I'm working on this song myself...
  7. Please read the original post: a request for a track off the DVD IATTBYH, which is unavailable as a stand-alone audio track.
  8. I found this mp3 version lost among files. http://download.yousendit.com/0AB860227DFFAC80 Enjoy
  9. These shows are excellent - especially the second night. Thanks for putting these up. T
  10. Just enjoyed a first listen recently. I've completed a google search but nothing comes up.
