    A Cherry Ghost
  1. I was at the show last night and was hoping someone would post the setlist. Much appreciated. I was somewhat indifferent about Jeff’s solo album, but hearing the new material live ignited my interest.
  2. A quick search on YouTube for Wilco and I Might works wonders for those wanting to hear the new song...
  3. 1. Poor Places 2. Misunderstood 3. Pot Kettle Black
  4. Thanks for the info. Also, I appreciate the work you and others on the board put into these tabs. It really helps those of us just starting out.
  5. I'm somewhat new to playing guitar and would love to learn this song. I've got a couple questions about the tab in this thread that I'm hoping someone can answer: 1) When doing the pulloff on the F barre chord, are you just lifting the finger doing the barring and leaving the other fingers planted on the strings? I'm familar with pulloffs on open chords just never tried it on barre chords. 2) Anyone have any recommeded strumming patterns for this song? Thanks
  6. I didn't see them coming back with drinks, so who knows. I don't want to come off as overly critical. It just seemed way more than I normally see at a concert and in the middle of songs. It was a great show regardless.
  7. Wow, what a great show last night. The band is on fire right now and I love the variety of songs we are getting post-Residency. After Jeff's comments about the Ryman being the best place to play, I'm holding out hope that if they do a residency next year it will be at the Ryman. I know I should be over by now, but I still can't believe how often some people leave and return to the auditorium during shows. Can they not just sit there and enjoy the show? On the positive side, I thought the crowd was pretty respectful when Jeff was doing his sole/un-amplified version of Someone Else's Son
  8. I really like the tunes on Before These Crowded Streets. Namely, The Stone, Dreaming Tree, Spoon, etc. I will admit that getting to like Stay took awhile. They have a lot of talent which makes it sad that they haven't produced any quality stuff since around 2000.
  9. I don't mind admitting I like DMB. I catch them every time they come to town and have a great time. Are there annoying frat boys at the concert? Sure, but that isn't unique to DMB. I have the same problem at other concerts as well. The problem I have is that their studio work since the aborted Lillywhite Sessions has really gone downhill.
  10. Yeah, I thought it was funny when Jeff told the interviewer that while he might have enjoyed it but a bunch of other folks didn't. I also liked Jeff's reply about not being a "camping guy" when asked about attending festivals.
  11. I was over at AT&T's Blue Room site and ran across a short video interview with Jeff where he talks about playing at festivals. Here is a link to the site: http://blueroom.att.com/mainstage/index.php You'll find the video under the link for interviews.
  12. I went with regular delivery and don't have it yet. I preordered because I thought the band would get a bigger cut (not sure if this is true or not). Regardless, I really don't think I'll preorder anything going forward. I really don't see the point; I'm paying more and getting it later...
  13. Nice song. I could really see this closing the album. Not that I don't like On & On & On, but I like this better.
