  1. OH MAN! You guys have allowed me to finally sleep easy This has been driving me crazy forever Thanks so much! Shoun
  2. Have a great soundboard of this show......does anyone know the song playing over the PA prior to Wilco taking the stage??? I have been listening to this bootleg for years and always wondered what that song/band was. Any help would be much appreciated. Shoun
  3. Just purchased the Ashes DVD and was wondering how to get the audio download online.....not very computer savvy, and was curious if my computer had to have a DVD drive in order to get the online download, or if simply my CD drive was sufficient... When I put the DVD into the CD drive....nothing happens.... Likely a silly question...but I am stumped..... Unfortunately, I was also never able to download the Sunken Treasure audio tracks either...... Any help would be much appreciated Thanks!
  4. Wait............I just looked back at the set list and I could be very wrong.........that show was very good.......(great) - it was the CROWD that I felt sucked..........and where I was standing (general admission........ugh)........it was poor as far as the crowd was concerned
  5. dude........that is the very show I was talking about........... I couldn't wait to get out of there! All the SMOKE and NOISE...............argh! Of course, I had just seen them the night before at an awesome venue in Savannah - and M Beach simply paled in comparison in my opinion........... But - these are just opinions!
  6. Listen.......I was there and the crowd was just fine.........of course, there were a few rowdies - however, most folks go to rock shows to party - even Wilco shows!...........I have seem 'em ~10 times from rowdy bars on the Being There and Summerteeth tours - to the reverent Tweedy solo shows and I thought Charleston was quite fun!...........aside from that dude yelling out during Sunken Treasure..............that was bogus If anyone here was in Little Rock last year as I was, they can appreciate the Charleston crowds enthusiasm.... Little Rock was like a mortuary..........just DEAD........
  7. Thanks to everyone who responded.........heading out the door now Astronaut
  8. Anyone have an idea when they might take the stage in charleston? I am coming from out of town and may be running close.......my understanding is that the tix indicate 8pm showtime, which I assume is for the opening act.... Any help would be much appreciated.....just so I know how fast to drive (just kidding....) Thanks
  9. So excited 'bout this show..... Took all morning to get tix when they went on sale Got Balcony sec 9, row A seats 4-5 Which puts me on the FIRST row of the balcony stage left The way the balcony appears to wrap around in photos I have seen, this puts me just a few feet from the stage with a totally unobstructed view!.......some of the best seats in the house if you ask me.....anyone been there who can comment?
  10. Not that I can add much to this conversation, but............ My good friend is an attorney in Charleston and has great seats but was called away to Alaska for a trial - so was going to miss friday's show. I am from South Carolina and currently living in Memphis for Residency, however, will finish at the end of June.........and be back in SC. So, this entire event works out GREAT for the two of us!!!!! Sorry for those of you getting screwed. BTW - I WILL be in Nashville on Sunday and would be singing a different tune if THAT show was cancelled. ALSO - for those who can't cancel the
  11. Got ryman sec 15 Last row in balcony............scrapped them............. "tried again" and ticketmaster wait was 15 min...............waited,waited,waited and BAM - up popped Balcony FIRST ROW! section 9 Looks like we'll be ~ 10 feet from stage with totally unobstructed view......couldn't be happier No more avail for Ryman after that in groups of 2..........however, if you tried for 1 they were popping up all over the place in random locations........some pretty good Was bummed they weren't comin to memphis - however - looking forward to 1st visit to Ryman/Nashville
  12. Interesting to see that others felt the same way........I honestly suggested to my wife that maybe it was me, because I was relatively sober for the show - she assured me it was the crowd. Memphis had the same potential for lameness - with 15 feet between row A and the stage, however, everyone was allowed up front at that show..........I understand being quiet and respectful - but Little Rock was over the top..........it was not a Tweedy solo show Myrtle Beach a few years ago was the polar opposite - with an over the top rowdy bar crowd - and that was just as lame - so, I guess I am being a wh
  13. Went to Mississippi last week and it was head and shoulders above Little Rock. The wife and I were amazed at how low key *lame* the crowd/venue was What the hell was up with the front row?..........seemed like most of the folks up there had no idea who the band was and were contented sitting there half asleep throughout most of the evening..........early on, many folks rushed down front in the aisles to get in front of the stage but stopped - I guess out of respect of the funeral that was going on in the front row The band was great, but the crowd was awful. I have seen Wilco many many times
  14. Agree with those who feel most all of AM is underrated Interesting to know how many here have been listening since day one with AM and seen the band's progression throughout the years I still remember hearing "Passenger Side" on radio in ~94 (95?) when it first came out while studying in college.....Loved it and picked up the album the next day They Played my radio station's summer fest in 95 and 96 - in charleston, SC Our local radio station (96 WAVE) was way into Uncle Tupelo early on too..... So, if you were around when AM came out, I think you probably like it more..........Hell, I thoug
  15. Cool.........thanks for the seating chart...... I have row N seats 201,202 Funny, only 14 rows back and looks too far back to even see on the seating chart Maybe I'll just stay home
