  1. Sold! That was fast. Thanks to all who replied. See you at the Tuesday night show.
  2. I have an extra ticket for Wednesday night. You can pick up the ticket from me at the Tuesday night show, near me in the District (Foggy Bottom/Dupont/Woodley Park areas), or I can fedex it to you (at cost). cannon.jonathan@gmail.com
  3. I've been screaming "Candyfloss!!" at every show I've been to for the last few years, to no avail. Let's hope you have better luck getting your request played.
  4. Bach annoys me. With him, it used to be about the music. Now, it's all about his fixer-upper in the Hamptons.
  5. I don't deny that SBS shows that the band is a great bunch of musicians playing really well together, with intricate, complex lyrics that reward multiple listens. But if that's what I wanted, I would just listen to Steely Dan.
  6. I don't count the MA albums as real Wilco albums either.
  7. Can I join the group formerly known as the support group? My feelings for SBS went from lukewarm to non-existent. I listen to A.M. all the time now. Also, have they played a new song in the past 18 months? I don't mean to say that they constantly need to break out new stuff, but I'm ready to hear what direction they are going in next (because SBS seemed more like a retrenchment). Wasn't there a rumor on this board that they had a whole album of post-SBS material in the can? Let's hear it!
  8. Don't wear your nice shoes when you go out in New Orleans. The place is underwater, and you don't want to know what gets spilled/discharged onto the floors of the bars in that town.
  9. I will be at the 930 Club. I'll be the jackass up on the balcony screaming "CANDYFLOSS!!!" You will prolly run into a few at the show.
  10. I sucked it up and bought a ticket from Stubhub. Prices there seem the best.
  11. The version of "Pick Up the Change" from the 930 Club, Sept 26 2001 is one of my favorite live tracks of all time. Jeff's harmonica solo is great. Sorry I'm not geeky enough/tech savvy enough to post a link to the song--the show is widely available, and I am sure someone else can post it.
  12. It's really important for me to get tickets to both night's shows. So when the presale drops, I would appreciate it if you could all hang back until I purchase mine. Thx. -Domino
  13. Perfectly poised for another show at the 930 Club.
