Don't worry Froggie I bet you get them Monday. Mine came registered post if that makes any difference.
And anyway if they don't come you can have my husbands. He loves Wilco but he also loves sitting at home in front of the soccer!

The missus and I are coming over early Wednesday morning from Scotland for both shows, then we are being joined by three friends from Edinburgh and Aberdeen for the Thursday show. Staying nearby so we hope for a close encounter during the day!
This will be the 5th and 6th times we've seen them this year - they are simply stunning in concert and the huge back catalogue makes it a real adventure to see what they are going to play. We saw them over three nights in Paris, Ghent and Amsterdam back in May and although the core sets were similar there were surprises every night. I don't care what they play really, but would love to hear Company in my Back and Hell is Chrome as I've not heard them live so far.
And of course a chance to get some good quality real Guinness... Slainte!
You Lucky Ducks! It would be so nice to fly/sail over to Ireland and have a few nights in wonderful Dublin and twice as good to see Wilco over there. I live in Melbourne but come from Carlisle and if I was still there I would be doing the same as you. Hope you have a wonderful time x

that's a really awesome shirt!
man i hope my poster is in the mailbox when i get home.
did they ship it in a tube or a box?
EDIT- My poster was on the front porch. It was in this large flat box, that was sort of bent (silly UPS men... ) so I dragged it inside and opened it carefully. I was really excited, and for a second I am pretty sure I reverted back to being 8-years-old on Christmas morning. Once I peeled away the tape and got the box open a mountain of Wilco stuff layed there! I couldn't believe the stickers, and postcards, and the button, the neckard thingy that says AGIB, the posters, the shirt, a magnet, and the coolest thing was a guitar pick hidden in a corner where the poster was held down that had a tiny Jeff signature on the back. Oh my gosh! I nearly crapped my pants.
I can't believe Wilcoworld gave us all that stuff! It just reaffirms what we all know-- that Wilco is truly the best band on the planet right now.
Sarah C, I was so excited when I heard about your guitar pick and thought maybe there had been one planted in my prize box which I had missed. I have just been out to the recycle bin and there was something! - A COCKROACH!

Damn it! I want to live in America!

I can't stop listening to "The Angel of Angels", it's by far the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard. Gorgeous.
-
Yeah, that was great. He seems a lovely man and very interesting. You, also, have a very relaxed friendly style of interviewing and it works.
-
excites me and sends me all of a quiver!
-
here's a short movie (8MB) of jeff comparing melbournians to americans.. enjoy
Thanks Froggie, it was wonderful to see that part of the show again.
Wish they would come and live over here. I hate them leaving Australia so soon.

if you laminated a cat, it wouldn't have any loose fur
That is so funny. I've had one of those days but tonight you've really made me laugh Mr McMurderman.

Impossible!
But, at the moment, and always at the forefront of my mind:
You're like a moon that's full
Across a sea of foam
I'm the sky you've been burning
I agree, it's gorgeous.

apologies . . . clearly my mood is something others can do without
but, jesus, I've got to agree with thisyearsgirl, I'd just like to see wilco . . . don't really care if any of those aforementioned tracks appear or don't appear in any future Oz sets
JUST PLEASE TOUR HERE . . . soon [apologies for the caps but I happen to think it's justified]
Look, I'm so desperate to see Wilco play in Australia at the moment, that if they came out and played "Mandy" by Barry Manilow you wouldn't hear me complaining.

Dear Jeff,
Very sad to hear about your Mum. A lot of love being blown your way over the seas from Melbourne, Australia.
