  4. OK, I am an official lurker, but I really do enjoy the posts. To re-emphasize what was said earlier, I just do not have that much to add. Except now, I was at the Ryman. There was a funny episode that may have been missed by many because Jeff was not right up to the microphone when he said this. When a couple returned to their seats in the 2nd row, almost dead center, Jeff told them 'Welcome back. Missed you.' Sadly, I audibly (and accidentally) cackled out loud at that one!
  5. After getting shut out of the presale, I wasn't holding out much hope for great seats in Montgomery. But, I got 4 in the 3rd row. Oh, hell yes!
  6. I have 1 extra ticket in Row B of the Center Orchestra. $45.00 all fees inclusive. Call me at 706-506-5025 while I am travelling to the show. We can meet up before the show. timhelbing@yahoo.com.
  7. Road trip! Charlottesville, 2 in the center orch, Row B! Good luck on Friday to everyone who missed out today.
  8. Nice review and comments, Shug. Yours is the post I've pictured myself writing about this band many times from the point of view of a grizzled veteran of hundreds of shows for over 30 years. I first saw Wilco opening for The Jayhawks back when AM came out, and noted then what a tight band they are live. What they have evolved into now is truly something special and spectacular. Caught 2 shows earlier this year on The Evening with... Tour. Truly amazing.
  9. Did Jeff sing 'living in Brisbane' during Kingpin?
  10. Well, as far as reporting goes, it's very clear why Wellington is the capital city of NZ. Great reports, guys! Not meaning to stir the pot from halfway around the world, but c'mon Aukland- not even a setlist! Having seen two of the 'Evening with...' shows in March, it is great to see that they are still playing long sets, plus you got JT Earle to boot- Nice! Of coincidence is that I purchased my Crowded House tickets during a presale yesterday for their August show in ATL. Yes, we can show the Kiwis some love over here.
  11. Have to agree- I see no reason to complain about setlist variation. I just saw them in Savannah and Atlanta, and all I can say is that I saw 2 spectacular shows. Got the superlong setlist in Savannah, followed by a spirited show at the Fox, each one laced with gems.
  12. We have a 4-some going to both Savannah and ATL shows. Had already planned on doing the brewery preshow- glad to hear other VCers will be there and that it is recommended. We are staying two nights in Savannah, then heading to ATL Friday. Should be incredible!
  13. Scored Row E for ATL at the Fox. Excellent! Hey, Cracked&Hooked, your tickets are damn good- Section D is dead center, sixth row behind orchestra pit, and 4 seats on the aisle.
  14. Savannah and Atlanta- count me in!
