  1. You people are really getting this all wrong. It wasn't that the Spokane crowd didn't know how to rock. Rather, the sound was so amazing in the Opera House that everyone was in awe of it all. If you were there you would have seen the crowd grooving to the Tweedy vibe. There was no time, no inappropriate moments to make a spectacle of oneself. In all it was sublime. If you didn't notice you were probably too drunk.
  2. Spokane concert review http://www.spokane7.com/blogs/soundwave/
  3. It was a very moving rendition of How to Fight Loneliness!
  4. This was my second time seeing the band, the other in Seattle a couple years ago, and this was a significantly superior show. Personally, I'd rather go to a show where the crowd was actually listening intently instead of stumbling around drunk, making it difficult to hear the music. From what I saw the Spokane crowd was very much into the show, in awe even. And as you mentioned, the quality of the room was top notch. It is the kind of place you go to appreciate music. I hope someone taped it. I'd love to have a copy, particularly for I shall be released with Fleet Foxes. Instant Classi
  5. Sounds like a bad Rolling Stone Song. This may be my least favorite Wilco song.
  6. Under the pink is good, but into the pink is better, always.
  7. This is going to be a good one. Released in August.
  8. Underrated: You Are My Face Overrated: Casino Queen
  9. Decent list, but it's hard to take serious without Richard Thompson.
  10. Really depends on the day or the mood, but these will do: Side with the Seeds Jesus Etc Sunken Treasure Company in My Back One By One Heavy Metal Drummer Impossible Germany I am Trying to Break Your Heart Pieholden Sweet Magazine Called Sunset
  11. Hotel Arizona Monday Casino Queen Shouldn't Be ashamed Shake It Off
  12. And you think I told her this? I may be bad at Geography but I'm not crazy.
  13. I thought for awhile this song was about my marriages. My first wife was German, ok 1/2 German, and my second wife is Vietnamese, ok not quite Japanese, but close. Whatever the case, I find myself losing time in Impossible Germany. Is that bad? Thank god it transitions into Sky Blue Sky, and I'm left a way out. How did we ever live in an age without the internet and pre-releases?
  14. I think You've nailed it here. If you don't like this either you lack imagination or proper vintage.
