    A Cherry Ghost
  1. I'm just so happy to finally have the cat painting mystery solved. And even more happy with the randomness of the answer. Plus, over the moon to know there's another half-album already completed. Be prolific! Please!!!
  2. Is there any chance anyone knows how to rip the audio from the Tonight Show website? I've always loved Cars Can't Escape, but I'mm so mesmerized by this live version that I want it on repeat everywhere I go.
  3. Haldern was a great set. Any chance anyone has the audio-only files?
  4. I'm not a musician per se, but I do use Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepard_tone
  5. Last night's set was really fantastic, and I now find myself at work with video blocked, feeling like my favorite candy has been taken away. Interesting to me that the instrumentation (or the mix) has changed for songs like Shot in the Arm and War on War. I, for one, love that the noise-pop is back. If anyone has ripped this to audio, I would love to get a copy. Or alternatively, what do people use to rip audio streams on the mac?
  6. http://blogs.riverfr...r_heart_mp3.php I'm torn. Purchase or not?
  7. Please no. I do not think it makes the guys look so good. Jeff in particular.
  8. I imagine the pre-Krautrock Spiders would've been pretty faithful to the version performed during the YHF tour and closer to the acoustic version Jeff does now. If you haven't heard either and want to check it out, PM me and we'll work out a way to get those to you.
  9. That's the balcony recording. Has anyone seen the recording from the guy who had a mike stand on the floor? It's not that I don't appreciate the balcony one (I treasure it at the moment), but I'm wondering if the other guy is one of the other two tapers you mentioned? Would love to hear how that sounds or to help produce covers - whatever.
  10. The Ashes Live version is what sold me on Wishful Thinking. That is pure magic, and much better than the AGIB version IMO. Loved Radio Cure on YHF, and loved it more live on KT.
  11. Of all the people it had to happen to, it happened to YOU. Ridiculously ironic given all that you do to promote the band through the DVD project. I hate to say it, but I got mine early.
