  1. This is so incredibly shocking, I can't believe it. Jay RIP. Sad, sad news indeed.
  2. THANK YOU! It is very pretty but it's basically an old cinema.
  3. Yay! Thank you. I'm so happy when I read about this gig today. I was so disappointed last time by the cancellation of the Brixton gig I flew over to Ireland to see them there instead. I don't have the money to do that this time so I'm thrilled they are finally coming back to London Shame it's The Troxy though, not my favourite venue
  4. Fantastic news! I'm thrilled if the London show goes ahead. Will you let us know when it's confirmed? I checked The Luminaire's website and there's nothing yet. That is a great little venue.
  5. Right now though, I just find it odd that some dates are cancelled and others aren't. Maybe they're hoping whoever it is who's ill will recover in time for the later dates?
  6. omg I'm so sad I wish they would make an announcement
  7. Anyone know if the European dates are affected or if it's just the UK shows? So far there's nothing on the Vicar St site, hopefully those dates are okay, but who knows.
  8. On the Newcastle Academy site is says the dates are cancelled due to "band illness"
  9. This thread is easily one of my favourites ever. The Whoopi pic was genius! I have to say thought, that I don't think Pat looks that much like the Gallaghers. It's just the hair really.
  10. Yeah, Outtasite is the skydiving one. You can actually buy a lot of the Wilco vids on iTunes. Outtasite, Casino Queen, Box Full Of Letters and I Must Be High are all on there. Sadly no Shot In The Arm.
  11. It's mentioned on the front page of the Brixton Academy website. http://www.brixton-academy.co.uk/ The link on the site won't work though, because they don't go on sale until 9am Monday Hope that helps.
  12. I don't think there's much point in Wilco making music videos anymore. They are not the sort of band that would receive much airplay anyway. And with the internet taking over, I think music videos are becoming less and less important these days. MTV has stopped playing videos and even the hyped VMAs doesn't seem that relevant anymore.
