  1. Looking for a high res version of this show....
  2. I was fortunate enough to be at this show. Crazy beautiful. Does a high res/high quality/soundboard bootleg exist? Many thanks....

  4. I agree completely. And while I liked the acoustic encore at the outset, enough is enough. I want the shows to peak with energy and electricity at the end, not come back down. Wilco always changes things up, and it's definitely time with this tour format. Bring back the mini acoustic set mid-show like they did a few years back.
  5. Boys headlining first weekend Friday April 24th. At the moment they're off the following day which I hope means they play a nightime gig as well.
  6. Depends on scheduling of course. I would take any venue at night. The last time they played JF Lucinda Williams played there too and the night before (I believe) her fairgrounds set she played the House of Blues. When Wilco last played JF iin 2011 they had a gig the night before in Mobile and one the day after in Houston, so the timing just wasn't there for a NOLA night show. According to WilcoBase the last time they played Tips was in 2008, House of Blues last in 2007, and Howlin' Wolf back in 2000.
  7. Very true Sandy…usually one or the other. What I would give to see them play a evening gig at Tips, The Maple Leaf or Howlin' Wolf? Any club for that matter. I loved seeing them at the fairgorunds in 2011- but it's impossible for the band to get into the flow of a show when the stage time is so limited. But the nighttime shows during jazziest are the real deal.
  8. Would love that…especially if they do a nighttime "full show" gig at one of the clubs downtown. Saw them at fest a few years back at the fairgrounds - but even the main stage shows are so short (of course Phish somehow did a full show at the fairgrounds - overrated imo).
  9. Many thanks! Was fortunate enough to catch 4 of the 5 on the shrinking tour but unfortunately missed the Metro Bar show.
  10. Flying in from philly last Friday I was wondering if I would have the energy for 6 shows. Not only was it easy, they left me wanting more. People are asking me which one was my favorite? That's like asking me which of my three dogs I love the most. Tremendous week.
  11. Can't stop listening to LH show. http://www.thebarnpresents.com has all Chicago shows for MP3 download and very decent quality. Did anyone happen to record Fred Armisen opening?
  12. From the steamengine source? Is it (or others from this week) available elsewhere?
  13. I'm a rookie when it comes to obtaining copies of live shows. Where would I go to find the best quality recordings of vic, metro, and lincoln hall shows from last week? Downloaded vic and LH via steamengine but wasn’t impressed with the sound quality..especially at higher volumes. Of the two LH sounded cleaner. Many thanks in advance... And no disrespect to the people that taped and uploaded the shows I just mentioned...I'm a stickler when it comes to sound quality and didn’t know what to expect. I'm assuming soundboard quality is a stretch...That being said, I was at these shows and the
