  1. We got early birds for the whole family...can't wait for our third year! So excited to head back to MassMoCA!
  2. First time I've ever been able to get anything through presale! Four tix, row M center in the Pavillion at Merriweather Post. Too old for the lawn, too old for the floor I think you can do it through the Merriweather Post Pavillion website on July 14 at 10:00a -- password is Chicago. Good luck!
  3. So sorry -- I was giddy. Honestly, that was the easiest time I've ever had. Hope something opens up for you!
  4. Regular tickets for DC through ticketmaster this morning seemed surprisingly easy to get -- after failing at both presales, I'd sort of given up hope. Now I'm about 53 kinds of happy
  5. I got a ticket! I feel like I just got a golden ticket for Willy Wonka's Factory!
  6. I thought ultra-dancing crotch grabbing guy was special -- seemed like Tweedy saw him, too:) Amazing night, though, and so glad to hear lots of early stuff + the Alex Chilton.
  7. I was at both 9:30 shows (as well Merriweather, Wolf Trap, Baltimore Opera, Durham, Delaware...) If TM owns stubhub, isn't that illegal? My husband seems to think they had a problem with racketeering a few years ago.
  8. It's an unrealistically small venue for Wilco at this point, unless it's a surprise show (think Radiohead at 9:30 after Tibetan Freedom Festival). I'd really like to know if TM has a relationship to other outlets, which always get tickets. Just saw them on stubhub for $118-600. We failed at presale (kept getting bumped out), then between two people using four computers for over an hour this morning. I believe I'll be watching Ashes that night...
  9. We tried presale. We tried this morning. My husband is ranting. Seriously, I'll bake cupcakes if you can help us out. And I'm a really good baker.
  10. Show was great -- though way too short (okay, I'd say that any night.) Did it seem to anyone else that it took them a few songs to focus? I thought they turned a corner when John started jumping up and down (Jeff didn't seem to fully engage until after he said hello). I really liked the more experimental vibe last night -- as an obsessive listener, it was nice to hear my favorite band doing different stuff with their material (maybe lacking the Total Pros had something to do with that.) And getting to (finally) hear "I'm a Wheel" live was fantastic. Conor Oberst was really wonderful, too. So
  11. Poor Places: "My fangs have been pulled and I really want to see you tonight." Slays me every time.
