  1. Max did play for about the first half, but then his son came on for the rest. I'm not sure why he played since Max was there.
  2. I assumed he was calling the person (probably a girlfriend/wife) that he had just killed. He's freaking about the blood everyone and needs someone to comfort him, but oops, he killed her. My 2 cents...
  3. Yep. Unfortunetely they clash with the Decemberists and Elvis Costello, both of which I kinda wanted to see. But i'll probably try to get to Wilco early and get a good spot and stay there to see the boss. This is my first bonnaroo (or any music festival), can any veterans tell me abouts how early i'd have to get to a show to get a spot up close?
  4. Thanks a lot, man! I'm getting the hang of some of it but a video would be great. I've been squinting at a video of JT playing this on youtube. -Trent
  5. I need some help with this one. I don't really understand how the fingering works with the riff you've tabbed here. I get how the chords are strummed continually, but i the riffs dont sound right to me for some reason. Are you supposed to be hold down the D for example while you're doing that first riff with the hammer-ons? like the first riff is 002200 and then hammer on the 4, do you hold down the D in addition to that so it would be 002232 with like a flat index finger and pinky doing the hammer-ons? I'm sure these are stupid questions but i'm a newb and i can't figure out how to play thi
  6. You kick ass. Also the girl in your picture is hot.
  7. Yeah it should work, just pop in the dubbed-video-dub.
  8. I think it was the 6th actually, but yes it was an excellent show. Blood of the lamb was great with that clarinet.
  9. did anyone else watch the whole video? I couldn't look away. when he screamed "AND THEN THE KEROSENE!!!" I threw up in my mouth.
  10. I heard about the Drive By Truckers and listened to SRO first because I heard it was their best one. It turned me off initially cause it just sounded like a Skynryd knockoff or something, and didn't listen to any more DBT. Then I heard about how good Decoration day was (on this forum, probably) and gave them another shot. I loved it, and then I got Dirty South which was just as good. I'd suggest listening to one of those first. I'm waiting for them to come to my town cause I haven't seen them live yet. I still haven't totally gotten into SRO, but i'm working on it...
  11. I think you can highlight those podcasts in itunes and click "get info" and there's an option for "skip when shuffleing". On topic, I try to only keep the albums I listen to on my ipod. The problem is if there's a song or two that I don't like on an album I generally do like, I can't bear to delete part of an album.
