  1. sweet man... will def be checking this out.
  2. thanks so much! that dvd would be great to have as it also contains the performance where i discovered wilco. sweet deal. and yes that performance was so effortless but so tight at the same time. i just love it.
  3. does anyone have that clip of wilco playing "the late greats" on letterman? it used to be on youtube but they took it down a long time ago and never put it back. it's my favorite performance of this song so i would be willing to give you my first born if you had it/found it.
  4. pretty much pat, john, and jeff singing "what light". they dont get interviewed like in the last one that the campaign posted. (if you havent seen that one:)
  5. they performed it live again already... i think it might be a staple http://www.thedailypage.com/daily/article.php?article=24203
  6. new personal theme song! wilco will love you, baby. how awesome did nels sound? and shout out to pat's beard.
  7. i'm thinking they're gonna play something new. hopefully it'll be one wing because it seems they've developed that song more than the others so far. i hope we get some tweedy/colbert interaction too. my tv might explode of awesomeness though.
  8. i just read this today and really enjoyed it... cool to know someone on here wrote it. dont know why anyone is having a bad reaction to you posting it... it's relevant.
  9. at the barnes and noble where i work, sometimes they play this "folk" station... and they play dylan, uncle tupelo, and some mermaid ave tracks. pretty sweet. i flipped when i heard new madrid on the clock.
  10. hi guys. first post.. ive been lurking for a while though. i guess this is an appropriate topic to write my first post on. i was wayyyyy late to find wilco. though, to be fair, i was about 6 or 7 when AM came out. i first heard wilco when they did "theologians" on conan. i remember conan said "these guys, for my money, are making the best music out there right now".. and being the conan freak that i was/am i decided pay a little extra attention. i'm so glad i did. i loved mike on that song... i loved the lyrics... so i went online and started looking around. i found the first concert they did
