4. i didn't see either of those... first saw them at Avalon right when they got back together, in 2002. saw them a bunch after that too.
5. tuned in last night for the first time in a while (finally figured out how to display it on my TV, yay for me) and enjoyed it a lot, but some of the client comments about Enimen and Patti were eye-rolling... blech. excellent to hear Burma too. talk about reunited bands who did it right - much respect for Roger, Clint, Peter (and Bob).
6. thanks for this! i checked my other email and found that link... should be here today!
7. damn. well i emailed the noonchorus guy so i guess i will see what's up. i did recently move but confirmed that my current address was the right one in my profile.
8. Weyes Blood opened for the first of the three end of the year shows that Sleep did in Chicago last year. a weird choice for a metal band but i thought they sounded great and got a good reception overall.
9. so i bought a ticket for the Nick Offerman live stream and i thought it came w/ a copy of the book? haven't seen anything yet... anyone else buy one this way, via noonchorus, and have received their copy yet?
10. nice! if we can backdate it, i saw a drive-in show with Blue Oyster Cult in July.

13. 100% agree. lovely post, esp this part: i need to keep that in the forefront of my mind more often.
14. Drivin' on 9 is a song by Ed's Redeeming Qualities, who also wrote the definitive song about lawn darts.
15. nice! that photo of Neil at Malahide Castle is so cool. and i wouldn't have expected Zoran to have shot Qui... Yow is the best.

17. Neil Young: Mogwai (i guess it's debatable about how well known they are, but this song is one of their best and has only appeared on a record label compilation) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxkj613b1U0 Radiohead (they have tons of great b-sides) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNFMuzF6jRI
18. You should watch _Performance_ if you haven't seen it. Great movie. Keef got pissed at Mick for the nude scenes he did w/ Anita, who was Keef's squeeze at the time. Nicolas Roeg is a great director.
19. This might sound stupid but I think that’s my favorite Who song.
