I think I'm losing my mind. Every time I listen to Jeff play Spiders now I hear him singing with the distorted vocals that opened up this show.

Great show last night. My first, and definitely not my last, Jeff Tweedy show. I was up on the general admission balcony, and I must say that there wasn't a bad seat in the house. I have to say that I did not enjoy the Handsome Family (opening act). They are no doubt talented musicians, but their lyrics were extremely awkward in my opinion. I felt like there was little depth in what they were saying (a song about insects mating...). Was I the only one who was thankful when they finally finished their set?

:( I live like 20 mins. from Red Rocks but since I am a broke college student, I don't have any money for a ticket. Would be my first Wilco concert too, and at my favorite concert venue. Hopefully someone will have an extra ticket that I can grab once my internship starts and I get some money.

Kind of random but did anyone go to the Ashes of American Flags screening at the Boulder Theater tonight? I live like 5 minutes away from it but I unfortunately had other things going on...

All my friends who are big Radiohead fans won't even give Wilco a chance I don't think I could live with that. I vote no.

I love the closeup of the D chord when he says "you followed me down the neck to D"... I kind of feel like Wilco allowed a high school production team to make this vid. Everything is so literal. I had to turn it off halfway through so it didn't ruin one of my favorite songs. I guess every artist has their low points...haha.

I really like the stripped down version of Shot in the Arm that Jeff Tweedy plays alone. I have been trying to figure it out for the last couple hours, but the strumming pattern is stumping me. Anyone have any idea how to strum it? I found a decent tab that sounds right, but I just can't get the strumming down. Any help/tips would be appreciated.

This just made my week. April can't come soon enough.
