How to join a private Reddit community?

If you want to participate in a private Reddit community and an exclusive subreddit, you should follow the step-by-step process given below.

Step 1: Open the website reddit.com in your browser.

Step 2: Sign in/log in to your Reddit account by entering your username and the password of the account.

Step 3: Once you enter your account, you will see an icon of a “white envelope”. It will be located next to the username (in the upper section and the right-hand corner of the website).

Step 4: Click on the envelope icon, which will open up the messages you have on the website.

Step 5: Click on the option “send private message”. The button and the option will be placed close to the “inbox” button/tab.

Step 6: Now you have to send a message to the moderators of the private subreddit. For that, you need to type in the “to” or receiver field “/r/name of the private subreddit (that you want to join). If you are not aware of the name of the particular private subreddit, you can open it in your web browser and examine its URL link. You will find the name of the private subreddit at the tail-end of the URL.

Step 6: Provide a suitable subject line to your message in the “subject” section.

Step 7: You can politely describe and explain your message in the message box and tell the moderators (the message will be sent to all the moderators of the subreddit) your reason for joining the particular community. You should place a request to the moderators to invite you to participate. Now click on the “send” button.

Now your message has been sent to the moderators of the particular private subreddit. They may or may not approve your request.

However, if they approve your request, you will get a message from them. The message will come to your inbox on the Reddit website. If your wish is approved, you will get an invite link from any of the moderators of the private subreddit.

  2. The Chicago Sessions

Singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell certainly doesn’t need help putting together an album, but for his new project, The Chicago Sessions, he enlisted Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy as producer, co-writer on one of the songs, instrumentalist throughout the album, and a good hang in a special place.

The album, out May 5 via New West Records, was recorded at The Loft in Chicago, Wilco’s longtime recording and rehearsal space. Its 10 songs feature Crowell’s signature sharp lyrics delivered in his weathered voice, with a few nostalgic touches thrown in for good measure.

  3. There have been some I did not get - but thought about it:  The Final Note (Painter's Mill 1971), Warner Theater 2005, Down in Texas '71, and Syria Mosque (1971).  I have been by the place where the last one was recorded. It's a parking lot now.

I did get the re-release of Bear's Fillmore East show (1970) and the Fillmore West '71 cd.

  4. When I saw that thing about Vegas I wondered how they would do that without Larry. The Black Crowes did a similar release some years ago. It is actually pretty good. We'll see.

I read his book. But I had to read it quick - it was through a library ebook.

U2 is the only band releasing new albums that I am still buying. I have pretty much gave up on everybody else.

The Great Escape - from Boxing Day I think. What is Christmas without The Great Escape? Every time you think that Hilts just might make that jump over the wire.

That used to be a Saturday afternoon or late night movie back in the day.

  6. Below are all the shows we have collected and uploaded to The Wilco Live Show Archive from July 2022 -December 2022:

    5-20-2007 Wilco (Soledriver source)

    4-22-2022 Wilco (Ademotte source)

    8-28-2022 Wilco (Bob100 source)

    9-21-2022 Wilco (kingcactus source)

It could be we are not going to see a lot of shows going forward. As Wilco no longer allows taping. I guess we will see as time goes on.

(Note: There were a lot of old shows put up at The Traders’ Den, Dime a Dozen, etc. the past few months. We already have those shows up at the Wilco Live Show Archive. I don't think I am going to bother posting shows anymore that we already have and that have been posted on various BT sites over and over again. That is one of the reasons we created the Archive. So people can just go there and get the shows.)

I also heard yesterday that the last ever Doc Martin is going out over Christmas and I immediately thought of you   LOL. It's funny that I've never seen a single episode.

I don't think I have ever got to see the last two seasons they made. I'll have to see if they are streaming somewhere here.
