  1. Great show. Only detail I recall clearly is Scott McCaughey was sitting in my vicinity and got a rousing hand from those in the know during "Let's Go Rain" I love the new solo songs. That is all. Edit: actually that is not all. "On and On" was stunning.
  2. Yep, that's when it clearly turned from lightly scolding an annoyance to being angry. Jeff's remarks to the jerks prior to that elicited chuckles from the audience, after this comment there was silence. I compared it to parenting my young kids. The first couple times they act inappropriately it's playful admonishment, after the third it's time to make it clear they are being assholes. I wish security would've gotten the hint and showed some presence. BUT all that going on had zero effect on the enjoyment of such a fantastic show. The first time I saw wilco in PDX was at Pioneer Square
  3. Yeah you could see that SG snap, I'm not sure if the one last night was damaged as it landed behind the amps/gear. I was actually standing at the back of the venue (next to Stan) rather than up close in my seats when the guitar was tossed. I'm bad at recognizing guitars, but my wife said it was the darker colored acoustic. Not one of the two with the red design on them that seemed to be most frequently played.
  4. Great review. Cars Can't Escape! Not For The Season! I Loved the quieter versions of the songs on the final encore. Also the intense look on Pats' face whilst rocking the triangle early in the set cracked us up! I really felt bad for Jeff, he was seriously upset about the phone situation and I think some of those folks thought he was just playing around with them. It was clear about halfway through the show that it was no joke and yet still zero effs given by the perpetrators. Very sad. Second time now I've seen Tweedy toss a guitar in frustration onstage. The last time was in Flagsta
  5. Seattle show just now let me have 2 tickets. Think maybe they're releasing more as they go.
  6. Me too, that's crazy. Scalpers move fast i guess
  7. No Kidding! He always stops here or in Eugene or both! Maybe those excessive chit-chatters at the Crystal Ballroom back in '06 have turned JT sour on the Rose City for good!
  8. I have 2 early bid tickets I'm not going to be able to use. They are physical hard copy tickets. $75 each includes any shipping or best offer. pm me or email tomauto10@yahoo.com Thanks!
  9. ***Still not able to sell these tickets, at this point I'll give 'em up to the best offer I get in the next couple of days. If you're still looking for tickets here's a chance to get 2 of 'em way below face value! ********* Thanks! It was going to be a great summer vacation. Fly the wife and kiddos back east, see some family/friends and spend some time at my favorite bands' curated fest. Than the sewer line backed up again. Needs to be completely replaced. Topography of home location, city of Portland non-conforming sewer rules and hiring of flagging crew = muchos $$$ inv
  10. Jeff also commented that this was the best smelling crowd he had ever been around. I believe he described it as a mixture of pine, mulch and barkdust. Although from where I was standing it smelled like a different "weed" altogether... As a native southern Oregonian I was a bit surprised to see Wilco on the Britt schedule this year. Usually bands that play in Jacksonville aren't quite as relevant, rarely would you see a band that has just released a new album play the Britt fest. Although I see that Andrew Bird is going to be there in a few weeks as well so maybe they're working on addin

  12. What a wonderful show, great sound, great weather, everything was perfect! I really enjoyed hearing Pot Kettle Black live for the first time. They did a masteful job arranging it. I did go see The Minus 5 afterwards. They played up the hill in a hall usually reserved for wedding receptions, the stage was really small but they sounded great. They went onstage at about 11ish, and I was able to get my wife to stay for about 45 mins before she dragged me out, muttering about having work early and still needing to drive clear over to Beaverton to get to her bed! I'm not a mega Minus 5 fan
