  1. I don't know if the audience's age had anything to do with that. I've found that to be true of all concerts I've been to in Maine-- the audience doesn't go along with much. I was at a Decemberists show up in Orono last year and it was a very mixed crowd but the majority were college students. Everyone stayed in their seats until the 3rd time Colin Meloy asked them to get up and dance and sing along. I've lived in NY and Boston and never experienced such relaxed crowds. 2011 tour dates?

Got 2 tix for Portland, ME! So psyched!
  3. Avett Brothers would be great at a courtyard stage. And I agree with The Low Anthem. Saw them open for Josh Ritter and will again for Iron & Wine. They're a wonderful group of musicians. Monsters of Folk would be dreamworthy and really suit the festival.
  4. I'm so bummed that we missed all the comedy! But...there's always next year
  5. Here's one that I took of Nels playing that banjo:
  6. I added some photos from both Wilco and Jeff's sets to my Flickr here: Enjoy!
  7. I have some dunk tank ones here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=478521&id=891695293&l=df1091f349 They're sideways but you'll get the idea
