I do think it is important to find out what kind of songs they prefer. It's frustrating though--I told one of my friends to go check out Wilco because they are one of my favorite bands, and like most people, he went to itunes and sampled the most "popular" songs, which right now are all off the album Wilco since it was so recently released. So he told me that he like them, but they were not that great- which we all know is far from the truth. Once i made him listen to A Ghost is Born though, he fell in love with them. Its sad to think how many people hear of Wilco, sample 4 or 5 songs and form

Given Wilco has put out so many albums, and given the variety of their songs, what songs would you send a new fan to first? Can Itunes popularity ranking truly be trusted? Just curious to hear some opinions... --> Found this site the other day, its called GoRankem. Its Artist's songs ranked in accordance with opinions of true fans.
