  2. Done it once with some huge candles that were recommended to me. A waste of time. Friends told me to unravel them to see all the wax that was removed. All I found was melted Beeswax. I thought my friends were smarter than that.

  3. I think that's probably the short answer right there.

Certain CD players just are very "forgiving," and others are not. My wife's car's CD player, for example, will play anything you throw in there, but mine will only play burned CDs if they're FujiFilms made in Japan ... and those sometimes won't start track 1 until I let them spin in silence for about 5 minutes. Even then, once I turn the engine off in the middle of the disc, when I start the car back up, it won't play.

Sucks, but until there's a way to put 100 gigs of music on an iPod and load it into my car stereo, I am SOL.

    Bet you drive a Honda

  4. shes a jar, maybe via chicago. definetly something off summerteeth.

    er...misunderstood?

    I would agree with Misunderstood.

But really, does it matter which song is the "most" depressing when over 90 percent of there songs are depressing? How about the least depressing Wilco song?

  5. what's up with people talking about the "dark" lyrics? I just don't get it. The lyrics are not any darker than any other album and not nearly as dark as the lyrics on Summerteeth. (was, have since been drinking, having a really downer day and have listened to it 4 times today and haven't listened to it in about a year. Feeling lonely and had to listen to "how to fight loneliness". Didn't help)

As compared to other albums that have come out recently or are coming out, SBS lyrics are much better. Couldn't stop laughing at some of the lyrics on the new Arcade Fire, and the lyrics, plus the music, is so bad on the new Bloc Party that I can't get through the first two songs. So I will continue listening to SBS, Tuvan throat singing, and Do Make Say Think.

    Hi Donna,

  6. The fender blues jr. and little brother the pro junior are probably perfect for you. Very Similiar tone to the deville but much lower wattage and one speaker. I'd like to own a pro becaure they are so tiny and sound so good. Plus, if you are playing a club or whatever, you can always just mic it to achieve the right amount of stage volume. And they're cheap!

My friend has a 15 watt ampeg(might be a J12). breaks up fast and sounds amazing

  8. Hola,

I've got the intro to Hell Is Chrome on piano down pretty well, I was wondering if anyone had the general chord progression that the piano part has starting with the initial "come with me..."

it will save me a lot of figuring-it-out-by-ear-time if you can help.

    anyone?

Did this before. Not sure if its here or not. I'll check and then repost it if its not.
