  1. They basically went from The Replacements to quite possibly the tightest most professional band going today.
  2. Awesome! Watching some videos, "Who Loves The Sun" is just meant to be covered by Wilco. It'd fit perfectly well on Summerteeth.
  3. Just to add my two cents and be that guy, but the brown M&m's had nothing to due with diva behavior. It was Van Halens way of checking to see if the venue read their rider. They had a big stage setup among other things And if something was overlooked in putting it together people could've gotten hurt or worse. So if they saw the brown m&m's (the clause of which was way down in the rider) they'd know to check everything else.
  4. Nice setlist from Jojo. Seeing him opening for Wilco must have been so great. Hopefully him touring with Wilco will get more people into him. He's a national treasure.
  5. Jonathan Richman, Townes Van Zandt and Alejandro Escovedo
  6. I was thinking the same thing when the album came out. Glad I was proven to be right I agree with all of yours but You and I I feel like its more Summerteeth(?). also I'd say: Wilco (the song)-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Deeper Down-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot I'll Fight-Being There Country Disappeared-Sky Blue Sky Solitaire- Being There Everlasting Everything-A Ghost Is Born I think its really cool that they made the album with their past albums in mind. And thinking about it there really arent' that many bands that could do something like that. When it comes to having each album having its own singul
  7. Just discovered this is on Spotify. There are some amazing songs on this. I know Billy isn't everyones favorite (I love him so ) but "Union Prayer" is just as good as anything on the other two album. The fiddle on it is so haunting. As a huge fan of both parties involved this is an unexpected treat.
  8. Yeah that's chicago's live music curfew.
  9. Kelly Hogan added! Plus Schedule and single day tix available. Friday tickets are $30. Saturday are $40. So awesome that wilco is getting 2.5 hours to play, I was worried they would only get about an hour plus. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 14 9:15pm Iron & Wine 8pm Glen Hansard 7pm The War On Drugs 6pm CAVE 5:30pm Guitarkestra SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 15 7:30pm Wilco 6pm Lee Fields & The Expressions 5pm Wye Oak 4pm Wild Belle 3pm The Corin Tucker Band 2pm Kelly Hogan 1pm The Waco Brothers w/ Paul Burch 12pm The Lawrence Peters Outfit http://www.avclub.com/articles/av-fest-kelly-hogan-added-schedule-an
  10. "Wilco (the Song)" is so much fun live. Wish they always played it. And I assumed (wrongly I suppose) that "One Wing" would become a live staple, because it was a great showcase for Nels.
  11. So if anyone's wondering here's the day by day break down for the majority of the lineup. Friday: Iron & Wine, Glen Hansard, War on Drugs, Wild Belle Saturday: Wilco (presumably), Lee Fields, Wye Oak, Corin Tucker, Waco Bros w/Paul Burch. Probably safe to assume CAVE plays on Friday.
  12. Sorry I'm new. Where and how do you go about getting pre-sale tickets? Is it on their website/do you need a password?
  13. Any clue how much this will be? Think it will be comparable to the Camden show?
