  1. Here is a link to YouTube for the full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMQQqa21ZVs And, NPR also has released a 360deg video of Misunderstood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2osJjSNxTE They planted lots of easter eggs referencing each Wilco album in the crowd. Sort of corny (Literally. Watch the video.) but that is just the type of old fart Bob Boilen is. Who doesn't love that guy? (Also, am I the only one slightly disappointed Glenn didn't build a makeshift percussion rig out of stuff from around the office like the last Tiny Desk?)
  2. Thanks so much for cluing me in. The transformation in their live sound from 2003 to 2004 is remarkable.
  3. Anyone know if Nels played live with Wilco before the warm up shows for the Ghost is Born tour in Spring 2004? I saw a mention that he sat in on a show in 2003, but have been unable to confirm and or find it. Thanks.
  4. I rationally know lists ranking artistic output are fatuous, but the heart wants what the heart wants. So, for what it's worth (absolutely nothing), here is one human's opinion. 10. Box Full of Letters 9. Spiders (kidsmoke) 8. Misunderstood 7. Born Alone 6. Via Chicago - live version 5. Poor places 4. Ashes of American Flags 3. Impossible Germany 2. Sunken Treasure 1. I am trying to break your heart The reasoning behind this list would become dissertation length...but to pigeon hole it: lyrics are good, but so is noise rock
  5. It would probably have been newsworthy to have NOT seen Mr. Mustache at the show given his man crush on Jeff.
  6. Was on kid duty last night, so couldn't make it to The Greek . How great is it that album after album no one cringes when Wilco play "stuff from the new record?" Can't really say that about many bands after a 20 year career.
