  1. Lance B - Not to say you are in the wrong, but you need to realize how territorial some Wilco fans truly are. Hell, look at the fact that there is this message board to discuss such earth-shattering topics such as "Wilco Heard While Being Out" and "What actor would play Tweedy in Wilco(the Movie)" Many people, especially Chicagoans (using that term lightly), feel that it is their right to be up front. If they cannot be close enough to sing along with Jeff and John, were they might notice, then they might as well not even be there. Now waiting in line for 8 hrs for anything (maybe Cancer-
  2. Any idea as to when Wilco might hit the stage for the Sunday show? I am returning from a weekend trip and my flight gets in at O'Hare at 7PM. Will they go on around 8?
  3. My favorite part is in the background at The Loft, there is a SuperDawg sculpture. Tweedy mentioned this as his favorite hot dog in the city. Pretty funny. I just walked up there the other night with my wife to get a chocolate malt. Delicious. Maybe I'll run into the Tweedy clan there someday.
  4. Thank God. Don't know what I would do with myself if I had to go 2 hours without a cold beer.
  5. The Pavillion is situated where there really won't be really bad seats. Actually the balcony from the sides might be a goog vantage point for the stage. I have only been to bball games there, but it isn't that big. Wonder if they will sell beer seeing that they don't for UIC games. I would be suprised if this was the case.
  6. I originally went for 4 tix, but went back and searched for just 2 and was able to get 2 floor at 12:09.
  7. Just wondering if Wilco is coming on at 7:30 like the ticket says? When do the doors open, have there been massive lines? When do the shows wrap-up? So many questions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  8. I took my kids to Navy Pier last weekend and heard "Impossible Germany" as soon as I walked in there from the parking garage. Nice.
  9. Superdawg - Hey that's cool. I live two blocks away. Kinda overpriced, but pretty damn good dog.
  10. I am not going to reveal where the Loft is; I am sure many people here already know. Past interviews have given enough info in which you could get a pretty general idea of where it may be. Like I said, many Wilco interest points just happen to intersect with all of the neighborhoods I have lived or spent my life in. Pretty cool for me that this band is somewhat a neighbor.
  11. Ok, so I finally got around to watching the DVD "Shake It Off" and I started to think about how this great band jams inside this building while the outside world is unfazed. Knowing that neighborhood my whole life, I think it would be very interesting if Wilco went to roof ala the Beatles and played a mini set. My guess is the people around there wouldn't bat an eye. Maybe a handful of people would gather around. BTW, during the credits they show a restaurant that was a great under-age bar during my college years. It WAS a great bar before the cops shut it down after 2 weeks of out-the-d
  12. My friend is a State's Attorney and saw Stirratt show up for jury duty about 3 years ago.
  13. What is the weirdest or funniest Wilco sighting you have had around town? Now I said random, nothing around or after a show. My is nothing crazy, but I did see Jeff driving in his car back in 2000 or 2001. I was driving with my girlfriend (now wife) and looked over and Tweedy was there waiting at the stop light. She didn't believe me. No stalking stories!
