From the Wilco Store link (https://wilcostore.com/products/cruel-country-digital-download):
The dynamic Chicago rock band Wilco returns with its 12th studio album, the first of its kind. Cruel Country is the band's exploration of the genre they've often been defined by but, until now, never fully embraced. The double album features 21 Jeff Tweedy-penned tracks, made almost entirely of live takes, created with all six members together in The Loft for the first time since the 2011 release The Whole Love.
I'll never judge an album by one song, nor do I think it is a good idea to have expectations of an album. It just sets one up for disappointment. I think it is much better to go in without any preconceived notions about an album as a whole and not compare it to any other album. Just listen to it for what it is.

This is exciting!

I shouldn't have cut onions at 11:30 last night.
The Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Deluxe Edition track listing is up on Apple Music.

A lot of shitty, entitled comments from people. A commenter on Reddit said Jeff had his hands on his knees and bent of at the end of the YHF part of the set. I just hope everything is okay.

I'm just excited to go and do something, even if part of it is watching my wife swoon over Nick Offerman.

Oh yeah, released an album back in August. My streak of being pretty awful at self-promotion continues!

Had an account here when I was 13 years old that got deleted. When my dad found out he went ballistic because of all you weirdos on the internet. When I was a little older, the wind blew me back.
Happy birthday VC!!!

Maybe I have learnt a little bit from the Master having witnessed Bbop's miraculous powers of predicting which song is next based upon the guitars that come out.
My guess would be RNG.
RNG doesn't have an E shape of a chord in it as it is in Drop D. My guess based on the guitar and chord shape, it is either Red-Eyed and Blue/I Got You or maybe Impossible Germany if that is an Am not an E.

I remember Jeff stating that YHF can't be remastered due to something with the tapes or something along those lines.
Venus Stopped The Train was officially released by Jay Bennett.

Bo Burnham's "Inside" is a masterpiece.

Once the sun set, it was a lovely evening, especially with a nice breeze.
I teared up twice. The first time was when it started. Just a pure emotional release of this being the first “normal” thing I’ve done since March of 2020. The second time was seeing Jeff tear up. I really feel for him and other artists who haven’t been able to perform for audiences in over a year.

This is one of those things I'll never be able to do due to my job. The lineup is so good.

It's 19 years, isn't it?

Oh that's a great backstory! So she wanted to remember how, or maybe check that her way was right.
How'd you know her in HS?
She was a grade lower than me and Wilco wasn't especially popular with high school students in the early to mid 2000s (shocker, I know). I think it was one of those things where someone said something along the lines of, "You know that one band you like? There's someone else here who actually likes them too."

-- Jeff teaches the clients how to play Chinese Apple. He sings a few lines from it.
It's really funny to me that Sima asked Jeff to show how to play Chinese Apple when she showed me how to play the riff back in high school.

Listening and making music is literally the only thing that has seemed relatively normal during the pandemic. Making music at the very least gives me something to focus on besides the pandemic. I've lost interest in a lot of other things that I love like reading, cooking, gaming with my friends, and puzzling/playing cards with my wife. My job can be pretty punishing with the sheer amount of time in front of a screen (I'm a teacher and my district has no interest in improving remote learning conditions for their teachers and students) and I get constant migraines due to it.
