    [Intro]
    C D G

    G
    At the last, last call
                                    D7
When it's time for us all

    To say goodbye
                               C D7
    I know I'm gonna cry
                               G
    Know I'm gonna cry

    G
    Because all in all
                            D7
    I'm just having a ball

    Being alive
                                  C D7
And I don't want to die
                  G
    I don't wanna die

               C D7
At the end of the end
    D G C D7
Of this beautiful dream we're in
         C D7
    I'll wake up again
      G C
    A robin or a wren
                  D
    And then I'll sit
       G
    Outside your window
                D7
    I'll sing a song you'll recognize
                       C D
    And you won't know why
                   G
    You won't know why

    C D G C D7 C D G C D

               G
And then a teardrop will fall
                           D7
Into the corner of the smile

    On your face
                 C D
    And I'll be alive
             G
    I'll be alive
             C D
    I'll be alive
             G
    I'll be alive
              C D
    I'll be alive
             G
    I'll be alive

I'm listening to a lot of Gorillaz right now. They did a live concert last week in support of their latest album which was fantastic. When it comes to the holiday music, I have a playlist which of bunch of random holiday songs, . If you haven't already, check out the album "Socks" by JD McPherson. Really good, original holiday album.

    Quote

In their conversation, Graham questioned Raffensperger about the state’s signature-matching law and whether political bias could have prompted poll workers to accept ballots with nonmatching signatures, according to Raffensperger. Graham also asked whether Raffensperger had the power to toss all mail ballots in counties found to have higher rates of nonmatching signatures, Raffensperger said.

Raffspenger said he was stunned that Graham appeared to suggest that he find a way to toss legally cast ballots. Absent court intervention, Raffensperger doesn’t have the power to do what Graham suggested, as counties administer elections in Georgia.

I can't think of a better birthday gift for my 46th (Nov. 5) than news of the election of our 46th president. I've been feeling equal heaps of joy and relief all day.

GA still has provisional and military ballots to count, which probably outnumber Biden's lead.  That could tip it back to Trump, but with PA all but locked down GA won't matter.  But as a Georgia citizen, I really hope the lead holds for Biden here.  The farther over 270 we can get the better.

I think someone (may have been an official in Georgia) said that it could be as low as 50 or as much as 8,900 of those ballots in Georgia.

Oh! Of course you did!!! :blush:P Sorry, my brain is frazzled and fried today...cannot wait for tomorrow to be over! And yes, now I remember your version well, it was hauntingly beautiful & now I want to hear it again!
I'll bet Jeff and family loved it too. :wub

    I hope so!!!

Has anyone put together some chords/tabs for the new Tweedy album? @chisoxjtrain, I'm looking in your direction! :P I'd love to take strum at "Natural Disaster," "Gwendolyn" and "A Robin or a Wren,"  among others. "Guess Again" is up at ultimate-guitar.com, but it's cooler to have the tabs at VC!

Haha, I'll get after it soon. I'm a teacher and remote teaching is kicking my ass.

I enjoyed the performance & like the new record plenty. I tried to go buy the cd but was surprised to find out it won't be released until January. Things sure have changed regarding marketing.

I'm pretty sure he mentioned that he wanted to get this record out there and the production of CDs and vinyls take time, especially now with COVID.

Does anyone remember which of the new songs that Jeff has debuted on TTS contains some recycled lyrics? I believe it was lyrics from An Empty Corner or maybe one of the Warm/Warmer songs. IIRC, Jeff and Spencer mentioned it after Jeff finished playing it and I think it was at least mentioned here.

    Troubled.

  11. Personally, I'm not in favor of expanding the Supreme Court, but:

-Republicans blocked dozens of judges during President Obama's term.

-McConnell didn't event bring up Merrick Garland for a vote.

So, I think the Democrats need to start playing on the same field as Republicans. Get rid of the filibuster and pack the court, then for good measure, pass an amendment giving term limits to the Supreme Court justices, and abolish the ridiculous Electoral College.
