I've heard those NBA card games get pretty hardcore.

Yeah. I think Lionel Hollins actually put a ban on card games on the team plane after the fight.

I couldn''t possibly have been more surprised by that outcome.

 

The Nuggets announcer said Mayo and Allen got in a fight on the plane or something, (report is that Allen pretty much worked Mayo over). Maybe that was an issue.

That was back in January, unless it happened again. They got into it over a card game.

I grew up in north MS & went to that fest a few times, so I can heartily agree w/ you.

 

However, I was already planning to visit family around that weekend. Squeezing in Wilco & the Avett Bros might redeem BSMF enough to get me there.

Anyone one hearing that Wilco could be playing the Beale Street Music Festival on the weekend of Apr 29 - May 1?

 

Seems plausible at least & BSMF is set to announce on Mar 3.

Must be nice to root for a team that hustles, plays hard, and doesn't give up.

That's the difference in this year's team. In the past, they've always went tits up late in games when down.

He is a monster on defense, he certainly worked the Nuggets over the other night.

IMO, all things considered, that was one of the best wins by the Grizzlies since they've been in Memphis.

31-26 at the break. w00t! Tony Allen has completely changed this team.
