Really cool for a project. Decibully did a bang up job on theirs. I thought Pieholden Suite was stripped of all it's dynamics and emotions though... that's my favorite and I was excited to hear a shot at it.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Twin Peaks, and Calvin and Hobbes. Those are the 3 game changers in my mind. Totally blew the doors off of what is possible with popular art and entertainment.

I listened to it a few times, but not again ever since. Like Sky Blue Sky, I'll probably end up working half the album into regular listening time. I bought it on iTunes for Dark Neon, but that didn't do much for me at all. This band has given me so much that I absolutely adore and cherish, so I am okay with not latching on to everything they do. I appreciate their range and respect them being able to do whatever they are happy doing. Perhaps I miss the exhausted, brooding, and sincere complexities of Summerteeth/YHF/AGIB. I don't think Unlikely Japan would be good on an ep. It's very much a B-side... not seemingly related to the album at all.
