If you're not familiar with this pedal- and you wanna play AGIB style stuff- you should be. It's an expression pedal you can use to control any parameter of basically any pedal. It connects to a knob of most any box out there and you can rock it to control tremolo depth, phaser rate, etc. Buy 3 and use them all.

They stole my million dollar idea. :huh :upset

Good topic! We should add pictures.

I'm not one for effects besides my e-bow, mostly because I don't have the money, eventually I'll get a Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer pedal, Electro Hammix Muff pedal, and a wah pedal of some kind. Here's my stuff though:

Epiphone Les Paul Studio

Fender FS-52 Lap Steel

Seagul ST-12 Acoustic 12 string

Yamaha F-310 Acoustic

Some sort of Ibanez bass

Some sort of Fender banjo (don't know the type!)

Delta DG-60 amp (needs to be replaced with a Vox or something)

Fender Rumble 100 Watt bass amp

Boss MT-2 Metal Zone (it was my brothers though she stopped playing so I took it, I don't ever use it though)

E-bow

Fender ST-1 Stage Tuner

I'm going to get a Nord Lead 2 sometime this year, hopefully.

What type of Tele did you get rid of?

My gear:

Guitars:

Fender Muddy Waters Tele

Danelectro Mod 6

Seagull S6 Acoustic

Bass:

SX Jazz Bass copy

Amps:

Behringer Vintager 112 (guitar)

Peavey TNT 115 (bass)

I'm hoping to upgrade to a better guitar amp after I take a month or two of lessons and get a better idea of exactly what I want/need.

Drums:

'65 Ludwig Super Classics, Black Diamond Pearl

'65 Pearl, Tiger's Eye Pearl

(Both are 4 piece kits w/ various cymbals)

Keys:

Wurlitzer 206-A Electric Piano (student model w/ built in speakers)

Some sort of Yamaha keyboard

Conn Home Organ (Grandma-type)

Misc:

Old teardrop-style Mandolin

several horns: trumpet, pocket trumpet, cornet

Bodhran (Irish drum)

Large marching/parade snare drum (courtesy of the Aleppo Shrine Temple)

Loads of small percussion and sound effects devices.

I've got a Gibson J-45 with an under saddle pickup...any suggestions for amping it and distorting the signal like Jeff in the movie...

OR...anyone seen the Silos? ...Salas-Humara dirtys up an old Gibson B-25...sounds incredible.

Don't have an electric yet...but I do have a Blues Deluxe re-issue amp...the J-45 really dislikes being plugged into it though. :no

What's that quote from?

Edit:I figured out what I was confused about here. I just saw the quote of a quote and was interested in the first quote and when I wasn't looking I found the the thing that had been quoted in the other quote. Anyway I was just about to continue this explanation but realized it's a waste of time. But if you're already too far in the rabbit hole, this is really simple and I can explain it some other time. Soooooo, there's this pedal that let's you control other pedals. Neato.

For as cheap as it was it's actually pretty playable but it can't even compare to a nice mandolin either. It's just good for playing Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down... even though it's a Bazouki.

I just want to play Pecan Pie and Blastin Fonda (maybe Acuff Rose too)... maybe I should try one

Seagull "Mosiac"

with a SD Woody plugged into a crappy Peavey Rage (i only use this for the eq to make sure the "balanced B" doesn't get too happy, so i turn down the mids and highs to get a Tweedy-ish sound that he gets from his J-45s).

Epiphone Casino

Fender Telecaster (MIM)

plugged into a Fender Pro Junior. i really only use a BD-2 Blues Driver or an DS-1 Distortion (i hardly use the DS-1 anyways). though, i can get a better sounding distortion (how i like it) out of my amp by turning it up and letting the sngle-coils/P90s and the amp to do the heavy lifting. i really only use distortion if i need the highs to come out less harsh as they tend to do if i turn the amp up.

Guitars:

Gibson SG Standard

Fall '04 Edition Taylor 312CE

'77 Yamaha Classical (Really bassy full sound)

Amp:

Line 6 Flextone II

I like the amp fairly well, I got it with the floorboard for 300 bucks total. It can simulate a good amount of amps and effects, but I'm looking to sell it and pick up a Vox AC30 halfstack.
