The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA had their first "Photographer's Night" a couple weeks ago..closed the aquarium to the "general public" but pretty much anyone with a camera was allowed in. Really great to be able to get in there and take pictures of tanks that are normally crowded with onlookers...but also just really cool to wander around a dark aquarium at night. Anyway, a couple shots from that (I was a big fan of the sea jellies..):

It most certainly is snow! Crazy huh? It snowed the night before but it was all melted by around 10 that morning.

It stayed in the 40's most of my trip but the wind chill was very COLD.

I like the shots of the jellyfish. Those things are so other-worldly. Very fascinating creatures, those jellyfish.

Here's to the death of Kodachrome. So many nice bright colors captured over the years.....including the leaves of summer.....with a Nikon camera.

Yes! You have to wait until about an hour before sunset to get the best light around here. Church and Cole knew that, I suspect - they both duplicated it very nicely.
