^ fantastic performance & recording of that song.

It was recorded on one of those little Flip Video HD cameras. Pretty impressive, I'd say. The sound at that particular venue is always terrific, and the Flip's microphone seems to have handled it quite well.

I can't believe how many people had to get involved to get this guy kicked out.

Unreal!

I also can't believe that someone had their camera phone out during such a classic.

I was there (at the very last show), but was sitting on the lawn. So, thanks for this!

EDIT: And I recognize the Grant Park stage, but where is the other footage from?

London & Paris, according to the video comments. I've had the audio from the Grant Park concert for years, but I never knew of a professional video having been made. Hopefully there will be more to come, but I wonder why it hasn't surfaced until now.

Ed Kuepper & Chris Bailey back together for a duet tour. i did the filming and my friend in France did the montage. i wish Tweedy & Farrar would do this one day

Well...it's been 17 years for Jeff and Jay. I don't think either are particularly interested in any reunion. They are really in very different places musically these days.

Normally I despise remakes.

But this looks to be a good one.

This song is mesmerizing. Great arrangement, too.

I know that Gilberto Gil did a version of it on one of his albums, too. But this version is just different. At first it appears to be kinda new age-y, but keep listening and the arrangement draws you in.
