Caught a snippet of "Last Goodbye" on the radio coming back from lunch, so I threw this on.

How ever many years out we are from his death, this record still never fails to break my heart.

Amen.

 

I'm really into this band, A Fine Frenzy, the lead singer is beautiful with a voice to match. Also, the New Pornographers latests, Challengers, is pretty awesome.

Is that as bad as the Crackerjack Docker single would suggest?

 

I actually rather like it... it's certainly split reviewers down the middle; those who think it's genius and those who think it's a big pile of steaming poo.

 

There's just something about it that's interesting... sounding like a mix between The Fall, The Wedding Present and some odd school yard chanting...

I thought it sounded more like Nathan Barley had started a recording career. The music wasn't so bad (if a little unimaginative), but the lyrics are shocking - I'm not too sure whether it would be worse that they were joking or being serious, or both.
