Of all the albums they have loved the only one I still listen to is the debut by Band of Horses. i used to despise pitchfork, but ive gotten over it and realized 90% of the new stuff i wind up liking comes from their recommendations, and id probably never hear most of it otherwise. im not saying i blindy follow whatever they say...but i do typically agree. are they self important? without a doubt. but still a good resource.
