So, on 12/28 Trey tells the crowd that Fish's Vacuum solo on "I Didn't Know" is "his last solo of the aughts". Then, on 12/30, they start up Syd Barret's "Love You" and Fish announces that the solo will be taken by "someone who looks like me". He picks some dude from the crowd to do the solo, and then GIVES HIM THE VAC!

Damn. I would've killed to do that! :lol

Guest Runaway Jim

Rumors of possible Phish shows at Wrigley Field in September. Also rumored are DMB and Paul McCartney. I'd definitely see any of them at my favorite ball park, which happens to be a 10 minute walk down Clark St. away!

However, I'll be out of town those days ohwell.gif so I'm hoping it's DMB.

Phish 3D

Published: 2010/03/08

With Alice in Wonderland earning over $100 million dollars this weekend, audiences (and theater owners) seem particularly receptive to 3D films. In this context comes news that a 3D film presenting Phish in concert is expected to hit theaters next month. Phish 3D will present footage recorded at last year’s Festival 8 event. While an official release date has yet to be announced, a website has just launched, along with an accompanying Facebook page. Thus far, the most commercially-successful 3D concert films have been Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert and U2 3D , the latter of which was produced by our publisher, Peter Shapiro.

They will be playing on my birthday at Alpine this year. I had tickets there for 03, but got arrested earlier that summer for something dumb was forced to skip it by the parental unit. Maybe, just maybe, i'll have my first birthday show! But alpine is a really far drive actually... who knows.

i put in for tickets to telluride and atl since my sister lives there. Unfortunately, don't think i'll be seeing much Phish this summer. So it goes.

I may actually be at the creek. Right now the plan is CHicago and the creek. Since you live in indy MB maybe you could reccommend me some hiking? Doesn't need to be too close. I'm thinking we'll do the shows thursday and friday and then go camping and hiking for sat-mon. Know anywhere?

Brown County State Park has some nice trails. About an hour (or less) from the Creek. Too bad the shows aren't in October - the foliage is REALLY sweet there at that time.

Happy happy oh my friend!

Haha, I got two for 8/18 at Jones Beach through the lottery. I think the last time I actually was successful with the lottery was when it was Tickets By Mail back in 97.

Sorry, mtnbed -- I dont see the Creek in my future. :(
