Wow, I never thought this one would see the light post-Bennett.

It's kind of like eating mushrooms in front of your ex after you break up, even though you always picked them off when you were together. Or...well, you see what I'm getting at. :lol

Hahaha, brilliant analogy. They are apparently doing Nothing'severgonnastandinmyawayagain at the moment, and they did Can't Stand It, again.

I will update this post when I read it (and compile from others, like happeningstone). God I am a nerd. Oh well.

Edit: For the rest of the show, I will not be around to do the setlist. I am a student at the University of Illinois, and I have to cover a candlelight vigil for the NIU shootings for the Pioneer Press. Sorry. Hope the rest goes well, and I'll look for it when I get back.

Edit: I'm back.

I think that's it. 32 songs. Here is the complete setlist, as far as I know.

Lucky bastards.

Back from night 3 and a much different vibe than Fridaay and Saturday. Show started with a bunch of beautiful quiet numbers... unlike Saturday, you could hear a pin drop during many of the songs. When Shot in the Arm lifted off, Nels was going crazy, as if having to blow off some pent off energy.

Jeff was funny tonight (again). Right before Jesus etc, he said we're gonna play a few tunes from our first record, and everyone cheered. Then Nels had him check the set list and he change guitars. He came back to the mike and said, " OK this is from the first record you bought." followed by a choris of boos. He then announce that he always "had to shit in the punch bowl." After Jesus etc, he repirmanded the crowd with, You better know all the words to these after that...

Another: the drunk dude in front of me yelled out, "Don't Play Theologians" which garnered more boos and a clarification request from Jeff. Later, after it was played, someone yelled, "play it again!" Jeff floated the idea of just playing Theologians for the rest of the night in honor of the drunk hollaring.

Lots of great moments tonight, much farther off the usual play list than first two nights, more adventurous, but not sure as fun as Saturday night. Still lots of good things to come... Looking forward to tomorrow.

I Got You (w/Andrew Bird)

Monday (w/horn section)

i've never enjoyed live music as much as i did during those three. holy shit, they rocked like none other. definitely the best show, wilco or other, that i've ever been to. and loved nels on "hesitating beauty".

i'm praying for "sad and lonely at your window", "i'm a wheel" and "shouldn't be ashamed" tomorrow, as i won't be there wednesday.

Rarely able to tell what is next, another new song is played, followed by the "I can't believe they are playing this, finally marveling in their pulling it off so well. that is the pattern I feel as I watch the shows. This is fantastic. They opened with 5 out of the loop songs before 1 minute of drown after finally getting into a song off a "mainstream" Wilco album. (Jeff still jokes no one owns or has heard AM) The rarer AM and Summerteeth tracks were right on. The overall crowd energy was not quite like it was Friday or Saturday, but it was still awesome. It would be like Tiger Woods shooting 64, 64, 72. Still a great crowd tonight but you could tell it was Monday. Can't wait to hear the remaining songs. They have held some great ones back.

Harmonica bits were great.. whenever Jeff loads up the orthodonrtist gear, they crowd cheers, Whenever he goes to take it off the crowd jeers. He wore it for an extra number just for us. Very sillly
