i come from the sticks of souther West Virginia, and Don't Shoot My Dog! was just a redneck thing people would yell. i dunno, looking back it's kind of ridiculous but i've had it as a screenname for a few years now. imagine if the dudes on South Park were saying dont shoot my dog instead of "they took our jobs!" ....kinda like that.

i guess mine's pretty self explanatory. i used to be casinoqueen, which i didnt pick myself..i was having trouble thinking up a handle and my friend mike (kaysettes on here) jokingly just said "be casino queen!", and i just typed it in and there i was. ive been using insideoutoflove as a screen name, email address, and now VC username for a year or two now. just really like those lyrics

When I was in high school, some of my friends were on livejournal. I was eventually convinced to join so that I could antagonize and argue. I chose "ikol" for my username because it was "Loki" (Norse god of obnoxiousness) backwards. I kept the name when I joined VC for reasons obvious to anyone who was present back then.

i didn't put too much thought into it.

when i was in college my email address was honeybee because Melissa is latin for honeybee (technically the latin is melisa). then i created a hotmail account and honeybee was taken and i didn't want to get clever with underscores or numbers to be honeybee2 or honey_bee. so i ditched the bee and went with isadorah. no numbers or special additions needed. isadorah was inspired from isadora duncan (the first woman to bring dignity to the stage, prior to her, most actresses and dancers were prostitutes) and isadorah of seville who was a nun in the medieval time period that had visions about how the world was created and other "scientific" theories on life. historians believe she suffered from the same mental illness that vincent van gogh was afflicted with.

 

i've stuck with isadorah ever since. i pretty much have a corner on all things isadorah. if you ever see isadorah somewhere (with the h) it's me!
