lamrod, both of your most recent posts (robo force and boglins) brought back memories i didn't even know i had! i used to scare the crap out of my kid brother with the two boglins i had (they were also puppets with movable eyes), and i remember my older cousin wouldn't let me play with his robo force toys (he was an a-hole...still is an a-hole).

A generation before it was Intellivision instead of Atari.

My uncle gave me his after he got an Atari. Had the little cards that you insert into the controllers that show you the buttons for each game. Dungeons and Dragons was the shit.

A friend of mine had Intellivision, and initially I liked it way better than the Atari 2600.

 

Those controllers were hell on my thumbs, however.

They were. Me and little brother had the Intellivision II console growing up. There was a voice module that came along later for certain games, such as B-17 bomber. It would say things like: "Bandits! 12 o'clock!" I loved that game.
