KramkonG Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Sometimes I turn the amp on and it lights/heats up right away, sometimes i need to give it a flick or even push it a little for it to heat up...but even then I am not guaranteed it won't go out on me... jff Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Hmm, maybe a bad tube socket? Have you taken the tube out and examined the pins? Maybe some of the pins are bent or broken. Short circuit in one of the wires to the tube socket? Those are the only things I can think of. But I don't know shit about amps or electronics. I'll bet it's something pretty simple.
