Andrew McKean Posted July 22, 2012 Share Posted July 22, 2012 This has been my rainy day project for a little while now. It still needs a lot of work. There are really no GREAT videos. The best one is from the Ashes of American Flags DVD, which is what this whole tab is based off of (and my untrustworthy ears). I figured I'd post what I'm 90% sure about and see what people had to correct/add to the tab (hint: solos). I was scared to work on this originally because I only have an acoustic guitar and wasn't sure if this was a song that could be play well acoustically. Then I found a copy of Jeff playing it at the 2/13/09 Vic show and thought it sounded pretty damn good. The tune is in open G (DGDGBD) and the second walk down seems to be almost identical to the one Jeff plays in his solo version of Acuff-Rose. I've kind of made my way through the solos with about 30% accuracy but I think someone with a better sense of scale structure and a better ear could figure it out easier and better. So please, give her a look. Correct. Add. Enjoy.
