This last Tuesday his mom and I attended a presentation given by the school district on magnet high schools and options re: same. Throughout the presentation, the nice lady speaker would stop about every 30-45 seconds so that the translator could translate into Spanish what the nice lady speaker was saying. That got me thinking: we need a translator here on VC. There is a whole population of maladjusted potential Wilco fans who aren't getting reached because of the language barrier. Hopefully we can get a volunteer from our own ranks. If not, I'm willing to throw in a few dollars (sorry, "dólares") in order to get a fund started. The translator would just need to hang around and translate into Spanish in real time every post by every member on the board. ¡ándale! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
