Is it just me, or is the Bull Moose site not working?

And if it's just me, could anyone please post a tracklist, if available?

This is interesting:

The deluxe editions of both albums are available to pre-order. The new version of A.M. will be released on CD and double LP, while Being There will be released as a five-CD collection or a four LP set. Digital versions of both albums will be available, while limited-edition color vinyl copies can be purchased on the Wilco website.

Following the dissolution of their previous band, Uncle Tupelo, Jeff Tweedy, bassist John Stirratt and drummer Ken Coomer helped form Wilco and released their debut album, A.M. in 1995. The new reissue will feature eight unreleased bonus tracks, including an early version of "Outtasite (Outta Mind)," and Uncle Tupelo's last studio recording, "When You Find Trouble."

Stirratt wrote new liner notes for the reissue as well, and in them, he says of A.M., "Listening back to records 15 to 20 years later, I'm always taken with the confident but guileless quality of bands in their 20s, that strange mixture of innocence and conviction, and this is one of those records – we were barely a band at that point, just trying to make some noise."

Wilco released Being There, a double album, in 1996. The expanded edition of that record includes a full disc of outtakes, alternate versions and demos, plus a 20-song live set recorded at the Troubadour in Los Angeles November 12th, 1996, and a four-song set recorded the following day at the Santa Monica radio station KCRW.

I know I complain about Kung Fu shipping every time but $46 shipping to Canada (that's $57CAD)!!! Insane. That said, these coloured versions look great and I'm a sucker for coloured vinyl so.......  :ike

If it's any cheaper for you, I'd be happy to proxy. You can have it shipped to me, and I'll send it to you. I know some people get great FedEx/UPS discounts. FWIW, shipping was ~$11 or so for me. Might not save very much, but I'd be happy to help.

Thank you, that's very kind! Unfortunately I'm willing to bet once you factor in the $11 to US shipping, while we'd save a few bucks it probably wouldn't be worth the hassle of it. But if something changes I will let you know.

What I need to do is live closer to the border and rent a mailbox in the US. Or just move to the States!! .........Maybe not till 45 is impeached though...

The thing that frustrates me most about shipping from Kung Fu is it would take me less time to drive to their headquarters to pick it up than it would be for me to drive home from work. It's literally right around the corner. If I could just go pick it up and save the $$$ that would be nice. The people in the office there are great in the few times I interacted with them. It's the shipping prices that are bananas.

Wasn't My Words a BT era? Also, wasn't there an AM era song called Rock Rock or something? Not sure why the Golden Smog tunes are on there. I'm sure there's more in the vault. This might be the beginning of the reissues of all of the albums.

This is an auto-buy for me. Such a sucker for colored vinyl. Sometimes I consider the money I'd save if I were colorblind.

Yeah but think how great it is that one time you have a friend over, you put on an album and it's Being There on brown vinyl. Instant cool factor! At least, that's what I tell myself!

I haven't bought a CD in a long time and would really like to get the liner notes for these reissues.  Does anyone know if the deluxe edition CD sets include download links or anything?

Mostly very excited for these...A little bummed, though, that the $80 LP set doesn't include even a digital copy of the Live at The Troubadour set...

yeah that's a bit of a shortcoming.

i passed on AM but got BT.

That is strange. But, since I already own recent 180 g. vinyl versions of each (A.M. being the orange vinyl Record Week or something like that version), the absence of the Troubadour set helped me make a decision and I'll go with the cd versions.

We're a kind and sharing community of fans. I'm sure you could get your hands on the Troubador set very easily once it's out there.

"Let's Hear It For Rock and Roll" was the tune. Its main riff and some of the chord progression later evolved into "Let's Not Get Carried Away," the SBS-era b-side to the "What Light" single.

You could always just rip the CDs and voila, digital version. I always go for the CD releases with deluxe reissues to get the liner notes, plus CDs still sound really fantastic in my car and serve as a permanent backup if/when a hard drive crashes.

Great re-releases. The Troubadour show was my first real introduction to Wilco shows. I got a tape of it around 1999, which was the same year I saw my first Wilco show, so it's always had a special place in my heart. Nice to see it get an official release. It was broadcast on FM radio, so they should have a good pre-FM mix.

My iMac doesn't have a CD drive, which just goes to show that discs are rapidly going the way of the dinosaur. For those interested in a digital-only release, the A.M. Deluxe will be on iTunes for $11.99 and Being There Deluxe for $24.99.
