Wilco.    Noteworthy as this is my 100th Wilco show.

Despite all the controversy with the Springsteen tickets I managed to score decent seats on the verified fan sale in about 10 minutes yesterday. I got ADA seats 4 rows back behind the stage. Those sea

Did he have an opener? Do you recall the set times? Seeing him tonight in Boston.

Ryan Davis opened. He went on at 8 and MJ started at 915 if I recall correctly. Have fun.

Saw Steve Wynn do a living room show yesterday.  Lots of fun - great songs and stories from his memoir.

I love Steve Wynn, he's great! that must've been a blast. :rock

It was lots of fun, particularly in a living room setting.

He told - and played - this great story of how he loved the song Save It for Later.  He realized that if he slowed it down and changed one bit it became Tell Me When It's Over.  It was very cool to see/hear him do it.

Did he play anything from the Gutterball album?  "Trial Separation Blues" kind of saved me 25 years ago.

This wasn't the specific show that I saw but it looks like the same setlist.  It's mostly early stuff, leading up to the first break-up of the Dream Syndicate.

Gang of Four

I gotta say - this show was amazing.  The band is original members Jon King and Hugo Burnham along with David Pajo (Slint) and Gail Greenwood (Belly).  Pajo was fantastic.  Respectful of the original tunes but added his own style to them.  And King remains a remarkably energetic frontman, particularly for a guy approaching 70.  I was tired just watching him.
