remphish1 Report post Posted July 26, 2019 Wow I’m jealous! I have attended this series before and never saw anyone performing! It’s a great series saw Courtney Barnett and Stereophonics before. Hopefully Nels joins tonight’s show too!
jbray Report post Posted July 26, 2019 If they want to bring out "Solitaire", please! Absolutely one of the highlights of Wilco (The Album).

lost highway Report post Posted July 27, 2019 These sound like solo songs. I know, I couldn't even hear Glenn or Pat's parts during the performance.
calvino Report post Posted July 27, 2019 The timing and the sound of Nels glass slide hitting the floor was perfect - glad a mic picked it up.
jbray Report post Posted July 29, 2019 There were some real interesting non-Ode to Joy tidbits in this interview:-Wilco (The Album) was created to address an existential crisis that the band didn't have enough "rockers." -Nels really enjoys the quiet songs such as "Solitaire", "When the Roses Bloom Again", and "One By One." -He also loves "Kicking Television" because of course he does, he makes that song.-Jeff pushes back against setlist diversity and lesser known tracks because it is emotionally difficult for him to watch the audience go to the bathroom. "I do not have the fortitude to endure that every night."

remphish1 Report post Posted July 29, 2019 Bums me about the setlist push back! I long for the lessor known tracks
Muzzle of Dan Report post Posted August 1, 2019 Empty Corner is really cool. White Wooden Cross is also very good. I'm pretty excited for this record.
Madcap Report post Posted August 1, 2019 Bums me about the setlist push back! I long for the lessor known tracks That's what I loved about the original Chicago residency and Winterlude, so much variety, so many deep cuts! I was hoping that the relative lack of diversity in 2017 was an aberration, but that doesn't appear to be the case unfortunately. Hopefully the three Mexico shows will at least be repeat-free!
