Agree!  I'm embarrassed to admit that until I saw the recap, I always thought "I'm straight" was written by The Silos.  :o

No worries, glad to help

At 49:30 when they started in on Roadrunner, I initially thought it was "Nobody's Business" by The Silos (Vulgar Boatmen).  It would have been pretty cool, but was wrong :)

And I had forgotten that the Silos covered it! I think Susan Across the Ocean may be the only Silos album I have.

Last night's show was so fun. I've missed a good number of shows lately due to working late and taking the chance of going to the gym late due to blood pressure issues. It was a perfect way to celebrate (Is that the right word to use in describing the past year?) the show's one-year anniversary.

For anybody who missed it - here is the supercut of Sammy walking through the doorway that I put together and was mentioned on the show. This includes every time I could find that Sammy literally walks in through the doorway - this doesn't include instances where Susie missed Sammy walking in. I think it's about 63 times but who's counting :)

Sunlight Ends (new song with lyrics "Dance Like The Dust In The Light")

I always appreciate a new one from him, and haven't disliked any of the many he's treated us with, but this one. Dang. Better be on a record soon.

"You're not the kind of desert sand anyone can cross

you're the kind of missing page that only gets you lost,

and you're lost

and I'm lost.

But let's dance like the dust in the light

where the sun comes in and I'm

following until the sunlight ends."

Fuck.
